This is NOT candy to my eyes, but [info]tricia_joy wanted some candy so I'll show the mess I've made of this thing I'm trying to do for the Ronald McDonald thing.
The background looks like a t-shirt and I can't get the colors right on the heart.  Any suggestions???

Morning Zura!
I can't see the detail of the surface so well but the muted colors seem to be working well together. the surface looks like it may be bumpy in which case you could take advantage of that by taking a lighter color and swiping it across the surface as highlights or you can add more color by glazing perhaps. Cool, great to see you sharing some work!!

Tricia, wow, thanks for the help!! See how the purple stripe looks like a stripe on a tshirt or else a ribbon on a pkg? How can I make it not look so "purposeful"? I hope you know what I mean.

maybe, dry brushing or sponging across with the back ground color and perhaps muting the lavender tone a bit.
